* Four-year starter at defensive back on 1951-54 football teams
* Also started at fullback as a senior
* Earned the Joseph M. Linsey Trophy for Outstanding Backfield Man of the Year in 1954
* According to teammates, his "reputation was such that the opposition would not pass to his side of the field"
* Presented with the Sid Goldfader Award of Valor by the Friends of Brandeis Athletics in 2005

Inducted into Brandeis Hall of Fame April 13, 2008
